Job Title: Hospitality Trainer/Assessor - Front of House

Location: Candidates must be flexible with travel throughout London

Salary: £26,100 – £27,200 (Salary dependent upon location and experience – this will be discussed during screening)

*Trainee Assessor* Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve their qualification in Education & Training.

Our client will also consider multi-skilled Assessors who are competent to deliver both Front and Back of House.

Essential Criteria:

Must hold occupational competency in Hospitality Management (Front of House) within a Hotel environment.

Must hold a NVQ Level 2 or above in Hospitality (Food and Beverage, Food Production, Reception, Housekeeping or Team Leading).

Must be flexible with travel throughout London.

Duties include:

Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality (Front of House) such as: Food and Beverage Service, Housekeeping, Reception, Reservations, Barista and Licensed Retail to Level 2 and Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 - including Functional Skills.

Also delivering Level 4 Hospitality Management, and Back of House qualifications if competent.

Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualifications.

Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.

Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Support, advise and motivate learners.

Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Desirable Criteria:

Ideally hold Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).

Experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Hospitality (Front of House / Management), including Functional Skills.

Personal Skills:

Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.

Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
