Data Manager - Sheffield
Up to £45,000 pa
A fantastic opportunity for an analytical and methodical professional to join the team who manage and support the high-profile NCETM and Maths Hubs programmes.
You will lead the design and development of innovative and integrated data systems, ensuring they enable effective evaluation of the reach and impact of the programmes, and deliver ongoing data and information to support programme activity and provide insight to the leadership team.
Educated to degree level, you will be familiar with database management systems and query languages and have substantial experience of developing, managing and reporting on complex data systems, along with an excellent understanding of the role of management information systems in the support of improved service delivery.
You will have excellent verbal, written and persuasive communication skills and be used to collating and presenting high quality management and financial information effectively to a wide range of audiences.
An understanding of the current education policy landscape, and experience of developing new systems in response to policy changes, will be an advantage.
This role is Sheffield-based and involves occasional UK travel. It is initially funded until July 2019 with the possibility of extension.
