Morgan Hunt are currently working with an FE college in Surrey who are looking to appoint a lecturer in Built Environment and Construction on a permanent basis. This role is to start in September and you should have proven experience within the construction industry and be able to evidence effective teaching on either HNC Building Services Engineering or Level 2 Construction courses.
This college is looking for a dynamic lecturer as an opportunity has arisen within their growing department. Applications are welcome from both experienced and newly qualified lecturers.
You will manage the learning process from student enrolment to achievement, including the assessment of learning outcomes and all associated administration.
Professionally experienced and qualified to Degree level or equivalent this role will require a high level of knowledge, experience and understanding of the subject areas. Following a successful interview you would be required to prepare and teach a new Level 2 and Level 3 Built Environment Course. A good background in architecture, civil engineering, surveying of either site, building or quantity and construction management would be required for this position. Experience in technical drawing, site surveying BIMS, construction programme software and CAD would be advantageous. You should hold a teaching, Assessor and Verifier qualification and demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning, always putting the student first and ensuring their success.
The successful candidate for this position will have:
* Assessor qualification
* Level 3 qualification Industry relevant
* At least 3 years industry experience minimum
* An in-date CRB/DBS check
