Careers and Progression Advisor
Start Date: 3rd September 2018
Salary: £6,455 - £6,688 pa (based on FTE £23,468 - £24,425)
Contract Details: 14.5 hours per week, 32 weeks per year

This is role is to cover a period of maternity leave, commencing on 3rd September 2018 and ending on 24th May 2019.

The working days for this role are Monday and Tuesday.

Major Tasks:

1. Provide careers IAG directly to students
2. Liaise with internal and external staff and agencies
3. Market services and activities
4. Take part in continuous professional development
5. Provide data regarding quality of service, keep records and contribute to reports

It is essential that you hold a qualification in Careers Guidance (OCF Level 4) and are educated to Degree Level. English, Maths and ICT qualifications at Level 2 are also essential.

If you do not hold a Level 2 ICT qualification, successful candidates will be required to undertake a relevant Microsoft qualification within first 12 months of employment. If the qualification held is more than 10 years old, we will require you to undertake a relevant refresher qualification.

Please note an enhanced DBS will be required for this role. The successful candidate is required to meet the payment of this DBS check which is currently £44.

On appointment, you will be placed at the salary point aligned to a number of factors which include, but are not limited to, qualifications, previous relevant experience, current salary and market forces.
