Stroud and Berkeley Campus

Salary Range: £23,997 - £26,658 per annum (Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)

Contract Type: Permanent and Full-Time (Term time only can be considered)

Hours: 37 hours per week

SGS College's Exam Team are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Exams Officer to lead a small team to ensure the effective organisation, operational management and delivery of all exam based activities at both our established Stroud Campus, and our brand new Berkeley Green Campus.

The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of examination procedures, ensuring full compliance to awarding body and JCQ regulations. The role is busy and varied and will include the operational management of both GCSEs and a wide range of vocational, apprenticeship and adult assessments.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills, be self-motivated, be comfortable working to multiple priorities and meeting external deadlines under limited supervision. The ability to communicate at all levels (both

externally and internally) is essential for this role, as is the commitment to a customer focussed exams service, providing a calm environment to support learners to achieve.

This role will have line management responsibility for exam administrator at Stroud and Berkeley Campuses and will also manage a pool of claims based invigilation staff.

The post holder will be based primarily at our Stroud Campus but the role will involve regular travel between Stroud and Berkeley sites. Own transport will be necessary.
