We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our successful and growing South West team.
You will work closely with the Business Operations Manager and team of Trainer-Coaches to develop new Levy and non-levy business across the South West of England; mainly Gloucestershire, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berkshire and Bucks.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of ESFA funding rules and Apprenticeships (frameworks and standards).
The role will involve:
Developing new and existing business to fulfill our ESFA contract and Budget targets.
Carry out employer Training Needs Analysis, providing effective IAG (information, advice and guidance).
To ensure Apprenticeship/Traineeship recruitment targets are met on a weekly/monthly basis.
Input and management of our CRM and effective weekly forecasting to SMT, by age, level and programme.
Work closely with the marketing department to direct campaigns.
Skills and Experience
•Strong Business Development Skills within the training industry
•Must have in depth knowledge of Apprenticeships
•Ability to network effectively and maximise business development opportunities.
•Strong relationship building skills (internal & external)
•Good presentation and networking skills ( internal and external stakeholders)
•Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes
•Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
•Self-motivated and can work proactively independently or as part of a team
•Excellent all round IT skills
•Has a 'can do attitude’, enthusiasm with confident and positive outlook.
