Ideal candidates will have served a full electrical apprenticeship or have NVQ level 3 in Electrotechnical. You should also have an Assessor qualification, although applicants with the right level of technical qualifications can be supported to complete an Assessor qualification in College.
You should have a considerable amount of experience in the Electrical industry and the ability to produce reports to encourage students development and progression to complete their portfolios. You will be required to use the electronic system, Smart Assessor, to review and assess student work so IT literacy is important.
