Our client is a Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to over 5000 full time students and over 5650 part time students each year. The college currently works with over 50 high school partners, welcoming students from Bury and the surrounding areas.

In addition to over 900 students progressing to university from the College, 200 students choose to study a Higher Level course available at their University Centre each year.

As a Student Information Administrator, you will be responsible for providing an effective administration and liaison service in a way which maintains accuracy and quality of systems and ensures compliance with all aspects of internal and external examination procedures. This is a permanent, part time role to cover 22 hours per week.

Providing a high quality administrative service to the Student Information Team, you must accurately and effectively input and update data records and monitor data input processes on an ongoing basis; informing the Student Information Co-ordinator of any backlog or issues. Collating and analysing relevant data to produce required reports, you must liaise with appropriate staff to ensure the college schedules meet current demand and assist with the validation of all data to confirm the integrity of management reports and external returns.

You must also collate and process relevant college documents for mailings and liaise with internal and external customers regarding Student Information systems, processes and data.

With previous administrative and customer service related work experience, you must be able to analyse and produce reports and be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications and e-mail. An NVQ level 3 in Customer Service, Business Administration or equivalent (or a willingness to work towards this) is essential.
