The successful candidate will be primarily teaching across a range of units on the level 3 Construction and Built Environment courses, in addition, you may be required to complete a number of on-site assessments of student competence for Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeship students enrolled on the courses. Ability to deliver across another related trade area would be an advantage although not essential.
You will need to be a highly motivated team player and have the skills, drive and enthusiasm to deliver and maintain the highest standards on the courses. The successful candidate will need to have a high level of knowledge and good experience of their trade, along with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience up to and including Level 4. You will be committed to developing learners' skills and technical understanding. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential as training will be given. An assessor award is also desirable.
