They are now looking for an Internal Quality Assurer to join them on a fixed term contract (covering maternity leave) where you will support YMCA Training staff to deliver outstanding programmes of teaching, learning and assessment. This position is covering the South: Welwyn and Hove sites.

As an Internal Quality Assurer, you will be responsible for driving forward improvements and supporting the overall performance, development and conduct of the delivery team members, ensuring that they are well motivated and that arrangements for quality assurance are effective. Maintaining quality assurance and audit systems, including appropriate policies and procedures, structures and systems, you will co-ordinate the process of teaching, learning and assessment observation across the region.

They are looking for someone who ideally has a teaching qualification (PGCE or Cert Ed.), who has practical current vocational skills, expertise and working knowledge in the areas you are required to support and quality assure. With experience of Ofsted inspections and of using E Learning platforms and databases, you will be able to communicate effectively, and via a variety of mediums.

Due to the nature of the role you will need a full driving licence and will be willing to travel to London at least once a month. Good IT skills are also essential.
