Eden Brown Education is currently recruiting for a Maths Lecturer on behalf of a leading Further Education College in West Yorkshire.
This is a part time role to start asap until end of October initially, potentially extended.
Days are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths professional to join a supportive and successful department, delivering engaging GCSE Maths lessons to post-16 learners and helping students achieve their academic goals.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality GCSE Maths teaching to students aged 16+
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Support learners to develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and comply with college policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent)
- A degree or relevant qualification in Mathematics or a related subject
- Experience teaching GCSE Maths within a Further Education, Sixth Form or Secondary setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for supporting learners to succeed
