We are currently seeking an experienced Horticulture Lecturer to join a Further Education College in Rotherham on a temporary short term basis.
Role Details
- Position: Horticulture Lecturer
- Location: Rotherham
- Contract: Temporary until 23rd October 2026
- Teaching Hours: 29.5 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday)
- Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Rate: Competitive hourly rate
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Horticulture courses to Further Education learners.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
- Support and monitor student progress, providing guidance to help learners achieve their full potential.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the overall quality of teaching and learning.
Essential Requirements
- Teaching Qualification (TQ) or equivalent.
- Previous experience delivering courses within a Further Education setting.
- Relevant horticultural qualifications and/or industry experience.
- Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
