We are recruiting 5 Registry Assistants to join the Student Experience team of a leading London university. This is a busy, hands on role supporting key Registry operations during a peak period, making it ideal for someone who already has experience working within a university Registry, Student Records or Student Services environment.
Please note: Previous experience working within a UK Higher Education institution is essential. Unfortunately, applications from candidates without university experience cannot be considered.
The RoleWorking within a fast paced Registry team, you will provide administrative support across the student lifecycle, helping to ensure enrolment, student records and examinations are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Support the organisation, setup and clear down of student enrolment events.
- Enrol students and maintain accurate student records.
- Update and manage information using the student records system.
- File, archive and audit both physical and electronic records.
- Support examination activities, including preparing exam materials and assisting with room setup.
- Invigilate examinations, ensuring regulations are followed and maintaining the integrity of the assessment process.
- Provide a professional service to students, academic staff and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Follow Health and Safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Previous experience working within a UK Higher Education institution is essential.
- Experience of working within Registry, Student Records, Student Services or a similar university administration function.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Able to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Able to deal sensitively and professionally with students and colleagues.
- Experience of student enrolment.
- Experience of exam administration or invigilation.
- Knowledge of student records systems.
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection within Higher Education.
