Job Title: Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer
Location: Merseyside
Salary: 40,000 - 47,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent (May consider temporary)

Eden Brown Education are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer to join its Construction department on a permanent basis on behalf of a well-regarded Further Education College within the Liverpool City Region.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and training across a diverse learner cohort, including 16-19-year-old students, adult learners, and apprentices, helping to develop the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in Carpentry and Joinery across Levels 1-3
Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with awarding body standards
Maintain workshop safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
Work collaboratively with employers and industry partners to support apprenticeships
Provide pastoral support to learners to help them achieve success

About You
Strong industry experience in Carpentry and Joinery
Recognised qualifications in Carpentry/Joinery (Level 3 or equivalent minimum)
Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Assessor/IQA qualifications desirable but not essential
Experience working with apprentices, FE learners, or adult education groups
Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
Passion for developing skills and supporting learner achievement
