Job Requirements/Description

We are currently recruiting for suitable, qualified individuals to become Independent End-point Assessors (IEPAs), who will assess apprentices’ competence in line with City & Guilds End-point Assessment policies and procedures.

This role is a great opportunity to use your industry expertise, work alongside your current job, build additional income with competitive daily rates, and continue to expand your own skills and development.

Our IEPAs assess and document apprentices’ competence against Apprenticeship Standards, and provide advice and support on End-point Assessment sites and to the End-point Assessment Team.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Hold an assessor qualification(s)
  • Be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 within Plumbing & Domestic Heating discipline
  • Currently working within the industry
  • Have in depth knowledge and understanding of the Plumbing & Domestic Heating sector

The Role Profile defines the responsibilities and expectations of an Independent End-point Assessor (IEPA).

 Application process-

  • Submit your CV
  • Complete the application form

When applying, please refer to the Plumbing Heating Technician person_specification.pdf to map your application to show how you meet the requirements. Applications that do not demonstrate this may be declined or delayed.

It is important that you attach your CPD or submit a detailed CPD log  with your application that demonstrates how you have maintained competency in the industry, not just generic CPD training.

To view guidance on completing your application, please visit our careers website https://careers.cityandguildsgroup.com/associate-vacancies/independent-end-point-assessors/

Following a successful review and vetting of your application, you will be required to complete a selection activity before being selected to the Independent End-point Assessor (IEPA) role.

IEPAs are contracted on an annual basis and are not directly employed by the City & Guilds Group.

Our Commitment to Diversity

We believe that diversity and inclusion strengthen and enriches us, and that it is the responsibility of everyone at the City & Guilds Group to drive this value. We work hard to be inclusive in our approach to recruitment and associate opportunities, whilst still ensuring we meet our regulatory requirements. We strongly encourage and welcome applications from diverse and underrepresented communities.

Please email associate.recruitment@cityandguilds.com and let us know if you require any support/adjustments with your application and if successful any adjustments needed to support you in your role.
