The College has recently undergone a significant refresh in the appointment of Senior Post Holders with the right cultural fit; people who are not afraid of a challenge and put staff and students at the heart of everything they do. Over the recent months, the College’s position has greatly improved, and we are now well positioned to appoint a Vice Principal Curriculum & Quality who can foster the similar leadership traits as other senior colleagues and lead improvements through an inspirational and welcoming style.

As someone who has a positive track record in a similar role elsewhere in the FE sector, and with substantial experience of employer and community led curriculum development and quality improvement, you will work collegiately to support the vision of the College and realise new strategic success through the design, implementation and review of a new curriculum for the College.

With accountability from the Board for a budget of c£30m and leadership of 320 staff members through five direct reports this is a big job for an experienced curriculum expert.

The Vice Principal Curriculum & Quality will be the strategic lead for:

Curriculum strategy and delivery

Quality improvement

Higher education

Apprenticeships

Sub-Contracted provision

This role will suit someone who thrives on challenge and cares deeply about providing high quality education and training to support social mobility.
