Role Overview:
As an SIA Tutor, you'll play a vital role in delivering SIA Training programmes, guiding learners, and providing valuable feedback and support. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire individuals to thrive in their security careers, making a real difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Delivering engaging and informative SIA Training programmes.
Providing learners with guidance, feedback, and advice to help them succeed.
Creating and implementing relevant lesson plans and materials.
Ensuring compliance with SIA standards and regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of learner progress and outcomes.
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements:
Hold a valid SIA licence and have experience in the security industry.
Experience delivering SIA Training courses and preparing lesson plans and materials.
Hold a licence with an SIA approved PI programme provider, with evidence of annual refresher training.
Level 3 qualification in the Delivery of Conflict Management training.
Level 3 qualification in Physical Intervention.
Experience delivering Physical Intervention Training (Level 3 qualified).
Good level of ICT skills.
Ability to motivate self and learners.
Safeguarding, Prevent Awareness, and E&D Training.
