We would like to speak with individuals who are currently, or have recently worked within a Hospital setting and hold a level 5 qualification in Clinical Care, who are looking for a new opportunity involving the training and development of future Healthcare Assistants!

Salary: £27,000

Location: Home based - Candidates must be flexible with travel throughout Salisbury and Gloucester

Assessors are based from home, planning own diary visiting learners in their place of work.

Essential Criteria:

You must hold solid occupational competency/hands on experience within Clinical Healthcare, possessing a breadth of understanding in people development and strategic duties.
Must hold a recognised Clinical Care qualification (Level 5) or RGN status.
You must be confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Must be IT literate.
Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel and visiting learners outside of the normal 9-5 working hours due to some learners working late shifts.


The successful candidate will assess and support learners through full Apprenticeship Standards in Clinical Care up to Level 5 (Healthcare Support Worker L2, Senior Healthcare Support Worker L3, and Assistant Practitioner L5).
As part of the delivery, you will conduct group workshops, both face to face and online, and visiting/observe learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their qualification.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners, through to end point assessment.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
