We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Playworker who wants to become a trainer! Whether you're a qualified Tutor or want to start a career in education this will be a great opportunity!! Our client is a leading provider of educational and training services dedicated to fostering the growth and development of individuals in the field of playworker, they are committed to nurturing talent and empowering professionals to excel in their careers.

As a Playworker Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of playworker professionals. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and support to apprentices enrolled in their playworker apprenticeship programme.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging playworker training sessions, workshops, and practical activities to apprentices, ensuring alignment with the playworker apprenticeship standards and curriculum.
Conduct regular assessments of apprentices' knowledge, skills, and competence, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their learning journey.
Provide individualised support and mentoring to apprentices, addressing any learning needs or challenges they may encounter during their training.
Collaborate with curriculum development teams to enhance and update training materials, resources, and assessments to meet the evolving needs of the playworker industry.
Maintain high standards of quality assurance in training delivery and assessment processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Monitor apprentices' progress and performance throughout their apprenticeship, tracking milestones, and facilitating their transition into the workforce upon completion.
Build positive relationships with apprentices, employers, and other stakeholders, fostering a supportive learning environment and promoting the value of playworker.
Ensure all administrative duties are complete in a timely manner.
Visit learner in the workplace to complete reviews and observations, providing learners and employers with feedback to further support them through to EPA.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

A recognized qualification in playworker from level 2 or a related field (e.g., childcare, education, youth work).
Previous experience working as a playworker or in a similar role within the childcare or education sector.
Hold a Teaching qualification such as AET, PTLLS, DTLLS or equivalent (desired)
Hold an assessor’s award such as A1, CAVA, TAQA or equivalent (desired)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Experience in delivering training or teaching, and knowledge of apprenticeship delivery frameworks, is advantageous.
