SGS College have an exciting opportunity for a NMH Study Skills Support Worker (SpLD) at our Filton Campus.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
v 1:1 study support/NMH study support to an allocated case load of students with specific learning difficulties
v Support with researching, planning, and proof reading assignments
v Support with developing confidence in academic writing skills
v Support with organisation, time management and independent learning
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
v Registration with professional body listed in DSA Mandatory Qualification List (eg: PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE, Dyslexia Guild)
v First Degree
v Knowledge and experience of supporting higher education students with specific learning difficulties
v Ability to manage a complex workload
