Our client is seeking a dedicated Math's Tutor to join their team. This role is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate Study Program learners in mathematics, focusing on GCSE-level content up to Grade 4 (foundation level). The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for teaching, a solid background in mathematics, and the ability to engage with learners with EHCP and challenging behaviours.
Our client has been established nearly 40 years delivering quality Apprenticeships and Education to young people in Stoke and Staffordshire. They pride themselves in delivering quality education with outstanding welfare support.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and high-quality maths education sessions tailored to GCSE-level content.
Develop comprehensive lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments to meet the needs of learners.
Provide personalized support and guidance to help learners achieve their educational goals.
Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Conduct remote administrative tasks for 0.5 days per week from home.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in mathematics (e.g., A Level, degree, or equivalent).
Previous experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in mathematics or a related field.
Understanding of EHCPs and experience working with learners with challenging behaviour.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
