Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor – Level 5

Location: Cornwall, Devon & Dorset - Must be flexible with travel

Salary/Package: £25,500 - £30,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications) + Excellent Benefits Package, Pension, Mileage + more!

Type: Full Time, Permanent


Duties include:

Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to level 5.
Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
Delivering completely online due to Covid-19 with a view to returning to online and visiting/observing learners in their place of work, once restrictions are lifted, to gather evidence towards their QCF Diploma.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely assessments / visits (when allowed), quality paperwork and general administration.
Work to learner review and completion timescales.
Essential Criteria for all candidates:
Must hold recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, TAQA or CAVA
Experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at level 5, including Functional Skills Maths and English at level 2.
Hold solid occupational experience of working within Health and Social Care / Elderly Care, to Management level e.g Registered Manager / Home Manager / Dom Care Manager.
Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
Flexibility is required with working hours and travel, as and when required to meet learners needs.
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
