Job Title: Health and Safety Tutor

Location: Rugby - Centre based

Salary: up to £33,000 (some flexibility DOE)

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more

Type: Full Time, Permanent 

Duties:

- Teach/assess learners working towards a Health and Safety in Construction Environment course.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.

Criteria:

- Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.

- Must hold a Level 3 Health & Safety qualification.

- Must hold a minimum of 2 years' teaching experience - ideally within Health and Safety.

- Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.

- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.

- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
