Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor

Location: London - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Duties:

- Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2 to learners undertaking Apprenticeship qualifications on a face-to-face basis.
- Identify and provide additional learning support to learners with identified learning difficulties and disabilities.
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
- The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.

Essential Criteria:

- Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above. 
- Must have experience of delivering group and 1-1 Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2.
- Must hold own Maths and/or English at Level 2 or above.
- Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- The successful candidate must be engaging, and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and teach learners.
- Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
