They are currently looking for an ambitious Functional Skills Tutor to join their growing team.

Role and Responsibilities:
The Functional Skills Tutor will be supporting learners aged 19+ who are unemployed as they will be delivering on AEB funded courses.
The Functional Skills Tutor will also be upskilling internal members of staff on how to teach and train learners.
The Functional Skills Tutor will be based in a single site classroom setting, delivering English, Maths and ICT from entry-level to Level 2.
Ideally the Functional Skills Tutor will be able to deliver Functional Skills as well as mentor and aid learners in order to achieve their employment or training goal, whether it be progressing into the workforce or going onto higher education.
As a Functional skills tutor, you will need to be creative and engaging in order to get the best out of the learners

Experience and Skills:
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have a teaching Qualification (PTLLS minimum)
The ideal candidate will have either delivered or embedded Functional skills up-to Level 2 in delivery before.
Experience in a similar environment of teaching a variety of learners with different abilities and ages.
