Protocol are working with a fantastic East Midlands based college to recruit a Functional Skills Lecturer. As one of the largest further education providers in the country, this college offers a huge range of vocational and academic courses, helping their students find routes into higher education or their dream career. This education powerhouse is looking to bolster its Vocational and Functional Skills Team.

Role responsibilities

Planning and delivering Functional Skills English and Maths lessons up to and inclusive of level 2

Teaching 12 hours per week across 2 days

Motivating students to excel in their subject area

Adhering to college policies including Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding

The person & qualifications

You must have a recognised teaching qualification

Have a minimum of a L3 in a relevant subject / degree

Recent experience of teaching Functional Skills Maths and English

Must be enthusiastic and inspiring to learners

Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within 12 months (or be willing to apply for one)
