Morgan Hunt are recruiting for an EMPLOYMENT ADVISOR who has knowledge and understanding of MENTAL HEALTH
Centre based - Leeds
£21,074 (rising to £23.111 after probation)
To start ASAP
To support clients to overcome barriers to enable them to gain employment based on their skills and capabilities
To provide personalised support required to help customers to increase their capabilities, improve their circumstances and enhance motivation
Working on a one to one and group basis to help with CV writing, interview techniques, job coaching
To help and support with training and development to help build skills ready for employment
Engaging with employers to ensure that the clients placed, are suited to the job role
Looking at triggers for barriers and working with clients to put steps in place to overcome these
Creating action plans, risks assessments, management plans to put steps in place
Managing own time for appointments
The Ideal Employment Advisor
Experience and knowledge of the Welfare to Work sector
Knowledge and awareness of mental health and how best to support clients
Have experience of maintaining existing and creating new business working relationships
Previous experience of job coaching, employabilty training
Empathy to overcome certain barriers
An up to date DBS
