Morgan Hunt are working with one of the leading further education colleges in the south of England to recruit a skilled and confident construction program area manager on a full time permanent contract in Chelmsford.
The college is advertising a generous salary of up to £36,520, which is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. They're also providing the successful applicant with a generous pension scheme and holiday allowance.
The role will involve leading a team, supporting the curriculum area manager and developing strategic and operational leadership skills. The team will deliver content that covers civil engineering and construction to students across a variety of levels. To be considered for the role you will need some form of construction/civil engineering background, Lecturing experience and a strong desire to progress to a management role.
Construction Program Area Manager Responsibilities:
Support the curriculum area manger to drive the department forward
Developing lesson plans
Positive leadership amongst other lecturers
Construction Program Area Manager Requirements:
Teaching qualification such as a PGCE, DET/DTLLS or Cert ED
Education and training/industry experience
