Job Title: BIT Tutor / Assessor
Location: Manchester / Greater Manchester - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:

- Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or equivalent - Or Assessors Award
- Experience of delivering classroom / group and work-based training.
- Experience of teaching / delivering Functional Skills English and Maths to level 2.
- Hold solid occupational competency within Business Improvement Techniques.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of  learners and have the ability to inspire and motivate them.
- Good understanding of Ofsted requirements.
- IT Literate
- Driver with own vehicle, and flexible with travel

Duties include:

- Train, support and assess learners working towards AEB / Traineeships in BIT Business Improvement Techniques at level 2 - group and 1-1.
- Deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English.
- Identify and assess the needs of learners, overcome any barriers to learning and adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
