Job Title: Assessor – Health and Social Care (Level 5)
Location: Cambridgeshire & Essex - Must be flexible with travel
Salary: £27,500 - £28,500 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to level 5 via a blended learning approach (online and face to face).
- Provide additional support for the delivery of Functional Skills (Maths / English / ICT) up to Level 2.
- Deliver teaching and learning through one to one tutorials, as well as group webinars.
- Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence, and provide ongoing support throughout the diploma.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
- Work to learner review and completion timescales.
- Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
- Recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or equivalent.
- Must hold own Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
- Experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5..
- Must hold solid occupational competency in Care Management (Health and Social Care - Elderly) e.g Registered Manager / Home Manager / Dom Care Manager.
- Must have a good level of ICT skills, and willing to develop understanding of blended learning and learning technology.
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel and visiting learners outside of the normal 9-5 working hours due to some learners working late shifts.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
