As an Apprenticeship Manager keeps abreast of the degree apprenticeship landscape, advising the institution on new or changed governance and/or compliance requirements and will co-ordinate apprenticeship-related business development activities within the University as well as between the University and delivery partners.
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆
Degree or equivalent experience
Significant knowledge and experience of degree apprenticeship funding rules and quality assurance requirements
Experience of strategy and policy writing;
Experience of delivering quality assurance of degree apprenticeships and programmes subject to external review and inspection;
Detailed knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and enhancement principles and processes in relation to the delivery and assessment of degree apprenticeships;
An understanding of the external context for apprenticeship quality assurance in higher or further education and the potential impact within institutions
Advise on the internal quality assurance and enhancement of the University's apprenticeship provision, including evaluation of quality assurance processes and their impact on learners, ensuring compliance with relevent external quality assurance requirements
Oversee the embedding of external quality requirements into the University's processes for validating, delivering and managing apprenticeship end point assessment, including ensuring ongoing compliance with the relevant external quality assurance (EQA) body's requirements
Maintain a detailed knowledge of, and close links with, apprenticeship programmes and programme teams, including participation in committees as appropriate
Work closely with the stakeholders on the enhancement and continuous improvement of apprenticeship provision and end point assessment
Support the development of new apprenticeship programmes
Develop KPIs to measure the success of the University's apprenticeship strategy
Engaging actively within the sector with regard to the internal and external quality assurance of apprenticeships, including sharing practice with the University's partners and other education institutions
Identifying University data needs in respect of apprenticeships and working with the Planning team to deliver said needs
Work closely with all staff involved in apprenticeship delivery.
