About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Regional Trainer to join our Skills & Learning Sector. The Regional Trainer will manage a caseload of circa 40 apprentices, delivering a range of qualifications throughout the

North-East region, including Tees Valley, Durham, Scotch Corner and Sunderland .

As a Regional Trainer you'll draw on your retail expertise to provide apprentices with the support and training they need, in their own workplaces. You'll be delivering teaching, learning and assessment towards their apprenticeship enabling them to realise their full career potential. You'll need to be able to work independently and manage your own time effectively.

The position is open to qualified and non-qualified Trainers/Assessors. We offer full training for exceptional retail professionals who would like to move into training.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need demonstrable industry expertise in retail working to supervisory or management level, coupled with a high degree of professionalism. Ideally you will be CAVA qualified or have an award in Education/Training.

We would also like you to have some or all of the following:

* Assessor qualification

* AET or CET qualification would be advantageous

* GCSE A-C Maths and English or equivalent

* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

* Excellent organisational and time management skills

* Ability to maintain your own personal CPD

Lastly, you'll need a full UK Driving Licence and your own car, as you will be required to travel within the region.

What else do I need to know?

* We offer a starting salary of £22,950 rising to £23,460, on successful completion of probationary period

* Hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday

* Regional travel across multiple sites is expected

* A Company Car Scheme option after 18 months employment

* The successful applicant will be required to satisfy security clearance requirements
