Writing Examiner - City & Guilds Level 3 Award In Fire Door Safety (6581-30) - Remote

Would you like to be involved with supporting the delivery of new qualifications in Fire Door Safety?

We are looking for competent industry experts to join us as assessment writers and editors for our Fire Door Safety with immediate effect.

This examiner role gives you the opportunity to work alongside your current job, to build additional income with competitive daily rates, and to continue to develop your own skills and development.

Applicants must meet the essential criteria:

- Experience of working in a carpentry/ joinery background
- Experience of Fire door installation (not just inspection.)

The assessments within the Fire Door Safety qualifications include on-screen Multiple Choice exams.

We are looking for examiners to help write and edit Multiple-Choice questions (MCQ) initially, with ongoing maintenance of the examinations when needed.

There will be a one-day MCQ writing and editing training course. Following successful completion of the training, work would be commissioned in the following weeks. During the editing time you would need to be available to attend an all day meeting. These meetings would be planned in advance and can be fitted in.

Maintenance work may be required as and when on an ongoing basis.

Applications will be reviewed on an on-going basis; suitable applicants will be invited to attend training.

When completing your application, it is essential you read the person specification fully, and map your application to show where you meet the requirements set out.  Please note applications that do not demonstrate meeting the person specification may be declined or delayed.

We look forward to receiving your application.
