Are you a Hairdressing specialist with experience in delivering assessments and leading a team?

Would you like to be involved with supporting the delivery of the 6002-31 - Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Hairdressing qualification?

We are looking for a dynamic and industry competent person to join us as a Principal Examiner for the Summer 2024 assessment series and beyond. The Principal Examiner is a key part of the delivery of technical qualification and is involved in every aspect of the assessment production process.

The role will include:
- Taking a lead role in the assessment production for the externally assessed examination series
- Working alongside other subject matter experts
- Writing and editing assessment content
- Leading a team through the annual cycle of standardisation, marking and awarding

This examiner role gives you the opportunity to work alongside your current job, to build additional income with competitive daily rates, and to continue to develop your own skills and development.

As a Principal Examiner for the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Hairdressing qualification you would need to have knowledge and experience to write assessment content around the following areas:

- Hairdressing consultation services
- Cut hair using a combination of techniques
- Creatively style and dress hair
- Creatively colour and lighten hair
- Hair colour correction services
