T Level Marking Team Lead Management&Administration Occupational Specialisms

Would you be interested in supporting the delivery of T-Levels for Management and Administration? 

We are looking for T Level Occupational Specialism Marking Team Leads to join us in the delivery of summer 2024 series and beyond.

This associate role gives you the opportunity to work alongside your current job, to build additional income with competitive daily rates, and to continue to develop your own skills. 

There are three Occupational Specialisms for the Management and Administration T level; each is assessed through assignments delivered in the Summer series each year and each includes a practical assignment, project brief, relevant resources and several tasks for learners to complete.  They are set and marked by City & Guilds. 

The purpose of these Occupational Specialisms is for learners to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills in the following areas:

Business Improvement:

- Acquire and protect data to support the improvement process.
- Analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Engage stakeholders in discussions on business processes and improvement.
- Identify, propose, and plan solutions for improvement.
- Monitor and report the implementation of business improvement activities.

Team Leadership and Management:

- Lead, manage and develop individuals and teams to deliver outcomes.
- Build relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Deliver core operational tasks and plans.
- Manage and implement projects.
- Apply governance and compliance requirements.

Business Support:

- Support the running of the organisation.
- Organise and prioritise workloads and processes.
- Recommend and deliver improvements to business practices.
- Build and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Manage the business information flow.

All Marking Team Lead Examiners will be required to attend marker training, as well as a senior team standardisation and Standardisation meetings with the rest of the examination team. These typically are 1-day meetings. Please be aware that due to these being dated assessments, there are periods of the marking process when a quick turnaround is required.   As part of the marking process, Marker Team Leads will be required to submit a Marking Team lead report detailing findings on trends observed during the marking activity.
