T Level Marking Examiners Management&Administration Occupational Specialisms - Remote

Would you be interested in supporting the delivery of T-Levels for Management and Administration?

We are looking for T Level Marking Examiners to join us in the development and delivery of summer 24 assessment series and beyond.

This associate role gives you the opportunity to work alongside your current job, to build additional income with competitive daily rates, and to continue to develop your own skills.

The Occupational Specialisms are set and marked by City & Guilds and delivered during the Summer series each year. The assessment includes a practical assignment, project brief, relevant resources and several tasks for learners to complete.

The purpose of each of the Occupational Specialisms is for learners to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills for each of the following areas:

Business Improvement:

- Acquire and protect data to support the improvement process.
- Analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Engage stakeholders in discussions on business processes and improvement.
- Identify, propose, and plan solutions for improvement.
- Monitor and report the implementation of business improvement activities.

Team Leadership and Management:

- Lead, manage and develop individuals and teams to deliver outcomes.
- Build relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Deliver core operational tasks and plans.
- Manage and implement projects.
- Apply governance and compliance requirements.

Business Support:

- Support the running of the organisation.
- Organise and prioritise workloads and processes.
- Recommend and deliver improvements to business practices.
- Build and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Manage the business information flow.

All Marking Examiners will be required to attend marker training, as well as a standardisation meeting with the rest of the examination team. This is typically a 1-day meeting. Please be aware that due to these being a dated assessments, there are periods of the marking process when a quick turnaround is required. As part of the marking process, Markers will be required to submit a Marker report detailing findings on trends observed during the marking activity.

About your application:

Applications will be reviewed on an on-going basis and we will be aiming to make final decisions in March 2024.. Successful applicants for the Marking Examiner positions may be asked to carry out a short task, attend a telephone interview and/or attend training as part of the second stage of recruitment, before being confirmed in role.

When completing your application, it is essential you read the person specification fully, and map your application to show where you meet the requirements set out. Please note applications that do not demonstrate meeting the person specification may be declined or delayed.

If you would like to be considered for one Occupational Specialism in particular then please specify this within your application. If you are interested in other Marking Examiner roles for the M&A T Level, you will need to apply for each one using the link to apply under each role.

We look forward to receiving your application.
