Our client has been established nearly 40 years delivering quality Apprenticeships and Education to young people in Stoke and Staffordshire. They pride themselves in delivering quality education with outstanding welfare support.



Key Responsibilities:



Engage and Educate: Deliver dynamic and informative hospitality education sessions to Study Program learners, focusing on back-of-house operations like chef training and cooking experiences.

Tailored Learning: Develop and deliver customized lesson plans, materials, and assessments to meet the unique needs of learners with EHCP and challenging behaviour.

Personalized Support: Provide individualized guidance and support to learners, empowering them to achieve their educational and vocational goals.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and achievement in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Collaborative Environment: Work closely with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success.

Remote Administration: Handle administrative tasks remotely, ensuring seamless lesson planning, assessment grading, and learner documentation.


Requirements:



Passion for Teaching: Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for education and a desire to inspire learners.

Industry Experience: Bring extensive experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in back-of-house roles such as chef or kitchen management.

Teaching Background: Previous experience in teaching or training, preferably within an educational or vocational setting, is highly valued.

Empathy and Understanding: Understand EHCPs and have experience working with learners with challenging behaviour.

Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate learners of varying abilities.

Organizational Abilities: Maintain meticulous records and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Team Player: Work collaboratively with colleagues while also being capable of working independently.

Flexibility: Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners effectively.
